Do you ever have days where you feel like the universe is screaming at you? Like, “come on, silly human, today’s theme is ORGANIZATION. Get with it.” So then you start making to-do lists and go home to clean your apartment? …No? I do.

Sunday was one of those days. Except this time the universe wasn’t hinting at me to be more organized; it was hinting at me to love more. It was screaming something like  “love is such a powerful emotion and it’s true that it conquers all. I don’t care if you think I’m corny. Walk around and smile and realize that LOVE is the number one reason that life is worth living.” So, I listened. And smiled. And even cried a few happy tears…and then rushed home to kiss my boyfriend.

Mayor Michael Nutter and First Lady Lisa Nutter gather a crowd to help them sing the lyrics to "Love Train" before boarding SEPTA's "love train".

A SEPTA subway car was decorated with sayings from Steve Powers' Love Letter Murals.

Krisy Plourde and Tom Golden were married by Mayor Nutter on the SEPTA train as they toured the Love Letter Murals in West Philadelphia.

The wedding was held on a tiny subway car but there were still both four bridesmaids and four groomsmen.

Tom proposed to Krisy while riding the El several months before.

The couple looks out at one of many of Powers' Love Letter Murals in West Philadelphia.

In attendance was renown artist and creator of the Love Letter Murals project, Steve Powers.

The happy couple greets friends, family and strangers at their reception held in the SEPTA building.

The reception was decorated with several prints featuring the Love Letter Murals. This is one of my favorites.

One of my favorite photos of the day! Nintendo DS vs. Point-and-Shoot. Young vs. Old. But both adorable, in my opinion.

A video from the love-filled day was posted on CNN and you can see a few more photos from the day here.
